Al Rehman Mosque,First Prize




	The competition of Al-Rehman Mosque organized to re-establish the cultural value of Baghdad as being the city of golden domes. The concept is an attempt to reestablish the morphology of the traditional mosque in Islamic countries such as Al Kazimyah Mosque and Salman Basha Mosque.

Baghdad Opera House




	Baghdad Opera House, Third Prize: ( 1990 ) ,The site of the project is 12,000 m² in central City of Bagdad consist a main theater, with front stage, two side stages and back stage as well as multi purpose hall , reception area and restaurants, cafes and out door theater, with an estimated cost of USD 18 million

Central Library University of Diala




	The Building consist an administration Dep. reception hall, books stores, reading areas and all necessary services. This project is under construction with an estimated cost of around USD 7 million. The basic concept involve two kinds of layering in order to re-establish an impression of both Mesopotamia and Islamic architecture. The primary structrall layer of the building reflacts the earlist ziggurat images, then layers of fragmentations composite to represent the islamic architucture in the province.

Commission of Medical Specializations


	The Iraqi Commission of Medical Specializations is a medical institution for postgraduate studies. The concept is an attempted to interpret the meaning of the institution, as being a gate of medical specialization. A traditional gate arch has been introduced as a formal reference, such distinctive meaning was necessary for establishing a comprehend architectural language. The concept enhanced by traditional configuration emerged from the courtyard houses, creating inner courtyard with a view from one side to provide the best possible natural lighting for all offices. The project is under construction with an estimated cost around USD 6 Million.

Competition of Republican Palace


		The Competition of Republican Palace, Second Prize: A total of 45 local and international consultants participate in the competition in(1987), the site of the project about 1200 hectares include the president office, administration offices, meeting halls, library, security facilities and all necessary utilities and services.

Baghdad Teaching Hospital

Baghdad Teaching Hospital; The site of the Hospital about 600 hectares designed to serve the medical college of Mustansiriyah University, with 600 beds include; out patients, emergency , physio-therapy Dep. The hospital also includes a surgery and babies delivery unit. An intensive and coronary care unit, alongside medical laboratories and research center, estimated cost around USD 75 million.

The University of Kerbala Master Plan

The University of Kerbala Master Plan
The task was to study the existing situation of the university and to set up University objectives and planning criteria, the scope of the work also include site analyses and space programs of the University. Then two strategies has been generated and evaluated by Space Syntax analyses. The project built on a 1100 hectares and consist of 15 colleges to accommodate 30 000 students, the cost of construction is estimated at USD 1 billion
